Soundstart

Designed to be used flexibly alongside any existing reading scheme, Soundstart CD-ROMs and Soundsalive Interactive Whitebard CDs aim to equip emergent readers with the phonic skills they need to decode text successfully.

• Based on the first three levels of Soundstart, the CD-ROMS are available for Red, Orange and Yellow levels, covering pre-reading to age 5.
  
  
• Each level contains interactive books featuring lively animations and carefully structured activities including memory tests, word association, cloze work, rhyming games and much more.
  
  
• Includes a facility for you and your pupils to re-record the story, providing your pupils with a familiar voice to listen to and also giving you the opportunity to listen to the children's recordings for assessment.
  
  
• Individual usernames can be set up allowing you to log responses from each pupil. Responses can be printed out and retained providing opportunities for monitoring and assessment.
  
  
• Access to books can be pre-set allowing you to retain control over the level of challenge at which a pupil is working.

Soundsalive

Soundsalive is a fully interactive Phonics teaching resource, with animations, games and sound effects that will really motivate your pupils to learn. The electronic full-screen animated pages are designed for whole-class use with enlarged screen icons and appealing interactive displays for all to see and participate in.

• The 2 CD-ROMs cover key Phonics objectives for Foundation level and include a range of different word level activities.
• Standalone resources based on the lively characters from the popular phonics series - Soundstart.
