PM is a firm favourite amongst Primary Schools due to its reputation for reading success. Offering over 800 carefully levelled fiction and non-fiction books, PM builds confidence through gradual progression and step-by-step support.

• PM Plus is an extension of the PM series, offering another 300 fiction and non-fiction titles to provide an even greater choice of texts from Magenta through to Sapphire level.
• On completion of PM Silver Level children have reached a reading age of 9 years. Stories include real-life problems, such as adoption, the stresses of public performance, pets and bullying, reflecting the relative maturity of this reading age. Silver Level books introduce visually confusing elisions such as we’re, you’re and they’re, and include increased frequency of sentences with 2 or 3 clauses and several verbs. Text length is increased to approximately 1000 words per book.
