Light intensity

Photosynthesis is the process which makes food for the plant. It is a complex process. It involves many factors.

The rate of photosynthesis is affected by the light intensity. The greater the light intensity, the faster the rate of the process.

In very bright light, lack of carbon dioxide stops the process going any faster.

Plants which grow in shady conditions may be adapted to survive without much light.
