Frequency

The ripples of a wave seem to move along. The number of ripples passing a point each second is called the frequency of the wave.

Frequency is measured in units called Hertz (Hz)

One Hertz means one wave each second.

As the frequency of a wave increases, the wavelength gets smaller.
