The Spectrum

When a ray of light passes through a triangular prism at the right angle, it makes a pattern of different colours. This is called a spectrum.

The colours in the spectrum are:

red	green
orange	blue
yellow	indigo
	violet

Our eyes are sensitive to coloured light.
