Visible Light

Visible light lets us see things when it enters our eyes.

Light can be sent along optic fibres. Messages can be sent in this way more efficiently than using electrical impulses. Many communications links use optic fibres to carry light messages.

HAZARD!
Bright light may damage the retina in the eye. Never look directly at the sun.
