Nickel
Nickel is a silvery white metal.
It is a good conductor of heat and electricity. Nickel was
discovered in 1751 by Axel Crodtedt in sweden.
Nickel is mixed with other metals to make alloys such as
stainless steel, which is rust resistant. It may be used to
coat other metals to protect them. Metal coins contain nickel.
Nickel is used to make green glass.
