Copper

Copper is a brownish coloured metal. It is a good conductor of heat and electricity. Copper has been made and used since prehistoric times.

Copper is mixed with other metals to make alloys such as brass and bronze. Its most important use is in making electrical wires. Metal coins contain copper.
