Atoms

All substances are made up of very small particles. The particles are so small that they can not be seen, even with the most powerful microscope.

All atoms have the same parts.

Over 90 different types of atoms can be found in nature. An element is a substance which contains only one type of atom.

In some elements the atoms are joined together to make molecules.
