Current flows

Electric current flows through the parts of a circuit. Current flows from the negative terminal of the power supply to the positive terminal.

The current carries energy around the circuit.

The amount of current flowing is measured in amps.

It is not used up as it flows around the circuit. Current divides bewteen the branches of a parallel circuit.
