Substances leave cells

Cells make some substances which are toxic. They make carbon dioxide by respiration when they release energy from food.

The toxic substances pass into the blood from each cell. They dissolve in the blood plasma.

The blood takes toxic substances away from cells. It takes them to organs which get rid of them by excretion.
