The World Trade Organisation (WTO) is an international agency overseeing the rules of international trade. It helps trade to flow smoothly, settles trade disputes between governments, and organises trade negotiations. This organisation is an attempt to replace trade blocs and encourage free trade.

a) visit the WTO website http://www.wto.org/ and find out the aims of the organisation
b) Go to the What is WTO? section of the website , here you will find a section called 10 benefits of the WTO trading system, find out what they are.
c) Do you agree with these benefits? Explain your response.
