range of statistical data about tourism in the UK,
including information about the origin of overseas
visitors, top tourist attractions in the UK etc.You
could use this site to produce a UK version of Table
G on page 231 of the pupil’s book.

to help widespread the understanding of our environment

and our world". They are committed to rain
forest conservation. This site includes some useful
information about the characteristic features of
Tropical Rainforests, as well as a collection of
rainforest photos used to promote their holiday
programmes. The site is also very useful to use
later in the unit as an example of ecotourism and
the possibility of sustainable development of the
rainforest.
