Communication

Communication – Level 3

The main areas of communication competence include the understanding of oral and written communications both to gather and to provide information. The specification requires you to:

  • Take an active part in meetings
  • Be able to carry out a formal presentation
  • Be able to read and write a range of document types, including those which use images.

The tasks provided on page 101 use the movement of water in a drainage basin and the associated landforms to allow you to work in a way which would, in total, present a ‘package’ of required competencies.
