An excellent geographical site from Northamptonshire Grammar School. Covers early theories of tor formation, Linton’s theory of deep weathering and more recent theories of periglacial weathering by Palmer et al. Some good pictures of tors and a detailed case study of Beacon Hill, Charnwood Forest (with maps and diagrams).
