Religions and Beliefs is a new series for Key Stage 3 RE comprising six pupil books, one teacher support file and one CD-ROM.
The series takes a 'by-religions' approach providing full coverage of the 6 main world religions. There is one book per religion. The authors are experienced educators from the faith background of the book they are writing.

When did Christianity begin?	What is Christianity?
Christianity began around 2,000 years ago when Jesus was born in the country we now call Israel. Like Judaism and Islam, Christianity grew out of the earlier life and teachings of the prophet Abraham.	Christianity is the name of the religion followed by Christians. It is based of the life and teachings of Jesus.
