Nelson Grammar
provides a step-by-step course for the teaching and learning of grammatical
awareness, sentence construction and punctuation. Designed for ease
of use in the classroom, the course carefully builds pupils' confidence
in applying grammatical knowledge and understanding to their everyday
work.
There are three levels of differentiation in each unit:
Focus
- Initial activity examining key point
Practice
- Reinforcement of the grammatical focus
Extension
- More challenging tasks that build on previous knowledge
- Each new grammatical concept is introduced in small steps, then
revisited and consolidated throughout the course
- Carefully structured and differentiated, this course can be
used in whole class, group and independent situations
