David Needham has taught Business Studies in schools, further education colleges and universities. He currently works at Nottingham Trent University where his role involves teacher training. He has written many Business Studies books and has contributed to both conferences and journals in areas related to business education.
Robert Dransfield is a Senior Lecturer in Business Education at Nottingham Trent University and is module leader for a Global Business Management course for international students; he also manages a teacher training programme for lecturers in India. He is an experienced examiner for GCSE courses in Business and Economics and has produced a range of titles for IGCSE students.
Leslie Garrett was head of an Economics and Business Studies department for 30 years and a Business Studies inspector for the Independent School Inspectorate for 6 years. He has over 25 years experience as a principal examiner and is currently the principal examiner for OCR A2 Business Studies, Finance and Accounting. Leslie runs numerous training courses for teachers in both UK and overseas.
Jane King has over 16 years experience as a teacher of Business Studies and Economics and is currently head of Business Studies and Economics at an independent girls’ school. She is a senior examiner with extensive experience of Business Studies examinations. Her training consultancy work has taken Jane to places such as Zambia, Pakistan and the Maldives, experiences of which have contributed to the materials for Business Studies for IGCSE.
