Audio CD's

All Fast Lane books are accompanied by a mini audio CD. Audio-assisted reading provides an excellent model of fluent reading, whereby pupils can learn how a reader’s voice, using fluency, phrasing and expression, can help written text to make sense.

The CDs have a mix of male and female voices as well as various subtle sound effects. These sound effects add interest to the recording without distracting the reader and provide a fun way to revisit the text.
