We offer taster sessions from our tutors and visits to the school by our Educational Consultants. Both are an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the company and all the benefits that distance learning provides.

Taster Sessions:

What are they?

An interactive presentation given by one of our distance learning tutors via videoconferencing to demonstrate how videoconference technology works and the technology behind it. This is designed to give students and parents a better understanding of what is involved in studying via the distance learning method.

When should you use them?

• Open evenings

• Sixth-form choices evenings

• Governor’s and school cluster meetings

• For potential new students

How long would they last?

From fifteen to twenty minutes

Subject Specific Tasters & Taster Lessons:

What are they?

Similar to a taster session but these can be offered if the school has a particular course in mind.

When should you use them?

If you require a subject-specific taster session we can offer a subject tutor and taster material, just phone the Operations Team.

How long would they last?

It could take the form of a short lesson or exercise (these ‘taster lessons’ can last up to an hour).
