New Biology for You is designed to introduce pupils to the basic ideas of Biology. It will show you how these ideas help to explain about the world in which we live.

The book is carefully laid out so that each new idea is introduced and developed on a single page or on two facing pages. Words have been kept as simple and straightforward as possible.

Throughout the book, cartoons and rhymes are used to help explain ideas. The 'Biology at Work' pages will also show how Biology is useful to us in everyday life.

• Questions at the end of each Chapter range from simple fill-in-the-missing-word to more challenging questions. New exam-style questions at the end of each topic ensure that students are fully prepared for the new exams.
• The popular '. at Work' pages have now been extended, and the content throughout is more applied and relevant, in-line with the changes to GCSE Science.
• To help you deliver 'How Science Works', each Students' Book includes a 10-page section which introduces and explains this new area of the specifications.
  This is then extended by work on new and adapted pages throughout the Students' Books and on the Teacher's CD-ROMs.
